Two more days of gluttony to go
Good morning, good day, good weekend, and welcome to this week’s edition of Whatcha Been Playing? I hope that the week has been very kind to you and yours and that the festivities of Thanksgiving — whether you celebrate it or not — have provided you with some respite from the regular chaos of the working world. Y’see, living in Blightly, I don’t celebrate Thanksgiving. But that doesn’t mean that America’s birthday (or whatever it is) doesn’t lighten my workload a smidgen, as PR offices shut their doors for four days to gorge upon fine food and beverages. I hope that you had a happy one. Oh, and don’t forget to share your thankful thoughts in my recent roundup of this year…
Which I wrote… even though I don’t celebrate it… umm…
WHATHAVEIBEENPLAYING? I’m glad that you asked. Having put some hours into solid SNK slugfest The King of Fighters XV last weekend, I have spent this week tap-tapping away at the ol’ keyboard, covering all manner of stories for you fine folk. I have also taken a deep dive into the stunning and ethereal world of Heart Machine‘s latest voyage into unreality: Solar Ash. I can’t share my thoughts on the title just yet, but be sure to look out for a full review in the coming week… Perhaps my final review of the year? I’m not sure. Is there anything else on the horizon save for the bouncy, silly, retro-shenanigans of Clockwork Aquario. We might actually be done for the year.
And I’m done with this volume. So before we all return to the weekend, please jump into the comments and tell the community what games are currently floating/sinking your boat. As you all know, it doesn’t matter if it’s a new release, a GOTY contender, an old favorite, or a 100th replay — If you’re playing it, tell us all about it. We hit an awesome comment count for last week’s Whatcha Been Playing? Thank you for that. That’s what I’m thankful for. For you. All of you…
Except… Again… I don’t celebrate Thanksgiving… umm…
