Let’s get your morning hype fires kindled
Sucker Punch Productions has opened a new job listing on its corporate website, which has, unsurprisingly, already set tongues wagging with excitement at the mystery project.
The studio is looking for a new narrative writer, and specifically asks that ideal candidates have “AAA open-world experience” as well as a “desire to write stories set in feudal Japan.” Knowledge of feudal Japanese history is also listed as a positive boon.
While this listing is obviously no outright confirmation of anything in particular, it’s hard not to get excited about the obvious outcome: Sucker Punch is in the pre-production stages of a Sly Raccoon sequel set in 12th century Kyoto. That’s my takeaway and I’m sticking to it. Let’s go, samurai Carmelita!
