Futaba Explains It All
Atlus has released a new trailer for its upcoming musou-like Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers, which launches on PS4 and Nintendo Switch in Japan later this month.
The video tasks The Phantom Thieves’ totes-adorbs navigator, Futaba Sakura, with laying out Persona 5 Scramble‘s storyline and gameplay within three minutes. Unfortunately my Japanese is a little rusty, so I can neither confirm nor deny that she achieves this, but we do get to see lots of stylish action culled directly from the hack ‘n’ slash release.
Persona 5 Scramble, a sort of pseudo-sequel to 2016’s Persona 5, sees The Phantom Thieves on a road trip across Japan, stopping off at various locations such as Osaka and Sapporo to meddle in affairs and deal out justice to the country’s evil-doers. While there has been no confirmation of a western localisation as of yet, Persona 5, Persona 5 Royal, Persona Q2 and Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight all hit these shores eventually, so it’s a no-brainer.
Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers launches in Japan on PS4 and Switch February 20.
