It appears that the official logo for Microsoft’s upcoming Xbox Series X console brand has been revealed. The stark symbol was first spotted on the Justia Trademarks website by Reddit users.

According to the site, the monochromatic design was submitted to the United States Patent & Trademark Office by Microsoft back on April 16, before being officially registered on April 20. It should be noted that just because Microsoft has registered this particular design, there is nothing stopping the company from going with any other choice for the console, and not featuring this example at all.

But given that these next-gen machines are expected to launch within the next six-to-eight months, a release date, price, or actual game footage would also be rad. Still, with the big gaming news season on the horizon (with or without E3) it seems inevitable that we’ll hear some of the crucial, deal-breaking features of these machines real soon.

The Xbox Series X is scheduled to launch Holiday 2020.
