Hopfrog’s charming indie title Forager is headed to consoles later this month, with a digital release planned for PS4 and Nintendo Switch July 30. This will be followed by a physical release sometime in September.

Released on PC back in April of this year, Forager blends the genres of multiple video games, as players guide a cute, weapon-wielding character through the overground and underground of a colourful, 16-bit style world. As the title denotes, players can scavenge for goodies and materials, explore dungeons and take down bosses, even build a farm and sell their produce for profit. Who knew sifting through garbage could be so productive!

For those of you hanging on for the physical release, it is scheduled for launch in North America September 10 for around $30 with Europe to follow a couple of days later. This edition will also come bundled with a few extras, such as a poster and a sticker set.

Forager is available now on PC and is coming to PS4 and Nintendo Switch July 30.
