Persona 5 Royal’s Kasumi Yoshizawa takes the stage in new trailer

Atlus has released a new trailer fully devoted to the brand new star of the upcoming Persona 5 Royal: Kasumi Yoshizawa. Kasumi is one of the highlighted features of Royal, which is essentially an expanded re-release of 2017’s smash hit JRPG.

In the video, we get to see the newest member of The Phantom Thieves out on the town with Joker, where she indulges in a bit of shopping, a good meal and a comical trip to the batting cage. More importantly, we get to catch a glimpse of Kasumi’s awakening, followed by the reveal of her battle outfit, her persona Cendrillon, and her All-Out Attack victory screen. Pretty slick.

Atlus has also released details of a special limited edition of Persona 5 Royal coming to Japan. The “Straight Flush” edition will include a new art book and soundtrack CD, along with a T-shirt and some exclusive costume DLC for both Royal and Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight.

Persona 5 Royal launches on PS4 in Japan October 31, before heading west in 2020.
