Your story isn’t over just yet, Clementine
During the Walking Dead panel at New York Comic-Con this weekend, Robert Kirkman (co-creator of The Walking Dead) announced that Skybound Games has acquired the rights for Telltale’s Walking Dead series. Kirkman stated, “We’ve successfully negotiated with Telltale Games for our company Skybound to come in and see Season 4 of the Telltale game to completion.” He then added, “the world can’t lose Andrew Lincoln and Clementine in the same year.”
A statement by Skybound reads that it will be taking full ownership of Telltale’s series and will finish off this final season (though with an unspecified timeframe). Along with that, Skybound is looking to rehire members of the original team to “finish the story in a way the fans deserve.” The company also put out a Tweet to let fans know of the great news.
