Crystal Chronicles’ Remastered Edition will allow for online co-op

If only it supported GBAs

This one got by me in all the hype of classic Final Fantasy games coming to Switch, but the recently announced HD port of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles will sport online co-op for four players. While this could have been assumed to be true (the original was basically designed around co-op), Square Enix could have relegated the feature to split-screen mode only.

I’m now wondering if the Switch version will allow for offline co-op similar to the old GameCube method. I suppose there wouldn’t be a separate television where the action happens, but it would definitely conjure up memories of days past. We’ll just have to wait and see as we get closer to release.
