Disgaea Refine, the remake of the original and still-beloved Disgaea, is coming soon in Japan. By way of Dengeki PlayStation we now know that it’s arriving on July 26 in the region on both PS4 and Switch. It’ll also sport a limited edition SKU with a soundtrack, special box, and a calendar.

I know that despite how many Disgaea iterations that NIS pumps out, folks still find themselves going back to the original. Although I like just about every entry in its own special way they’ve been working at re-creating the magic of the original for a while — and now we’re getting a straight remake that’ll do just that.

It’s hard to settle on a platform, especially since Sony has been its home for so long, but recently Nintendo has been giving them a run for their money.
