We’re still a few weeks away from the magical April update that PS3 owners are anticipating. While there have been no concrete announcements on what to expect, people want in-game XMB and Home, and we expect Sony to deliver… something.

In the meantime, there’s not much to offer you. Don’t blame the messenger. This week there’s a ToyHome Expansion Pack ($6.99) that promises six new vehicles, two new playrooms, and 4-player online and offline multiplayer support — and it’s all somehow packed into a 100 KB package.

I expect that you’ve already heard about the free Guitar Hero III download from Dropkick Murphys. You’ll still have to pony up $.99 for Rock Band‘s offerings this week. Aside from these, PAIN has two more characters: a Cheerleader named Muffy and a Nurse named Ginger ($0.99 ea).

This week’s update only offers one demo: Major League Baseball 2K8. It features 2 teams (Boston and Colorado) and 1 stadium (Fenway Park), and it weighs in at 952 MB.

The best offerings this week are the PS3 themes. Pick your favorites from God of War: Chains of Olympus, PAIN, and Condemned 2: Bloodshot. Five in all.

Finally, there are no movie trailers this week. There is some new footage from Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds and Viking: Battle for Asgard for you to look over.

That’s it! What are you downloading this week?
