Britain likes football game shocker
Out of nowhere, Destiny 2’s seemingly comfortable hold at the top of the U.K charts has come to an end at the hands (feet?) of EA’s FIFA 18, which has launched straight into the number one spot.
The latest iteration of the long-running football series has seen incredible success in its debut, though the title famously always performs well in the UK territory. Destiny is still in a position to come back from this, but it’ll be a fight.
In other news, Pokken Tournament DX has left the high ranks after one week, a common theme among many Switch titles, which generally see their sales surge, then peak, in the first seven days.
The most notable move here is superhuman-fighter Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite which, after a lackluster debut at twelve last week has, less than a fortnight into release, bottomed out to number thirty.
