I mean, I put out a wide array of predictions in this post, but given that Nintendo (along with Bandai Namco in this case) is basically pulling out all the stops to erase any Wii U exclusive from existence, this one made perfect sense.

Nintendo announced Pokken Tournament DX today during their Pokemon Direct, which will be coming to the Switch. New characters are in (mostly the already announced arcade DLC), including Decidueye from Sun & Moon. Litten and Popplio are in as supports, as well as a new Team Battle mode (3v3), enhanced online play, daily challenges, and replays. Everything will be unlocked at the start. It’ll launch on September 22, 2017.

Nintendo has provided E3 tournament information (that you can peruse below along with the trailer) if that’s something you want to catch on June 14.

Name: 2017 Pokkén Tournament DX Invitational
