Black Canary finally gets her due in Injustice 2

Her super is a bit boring though

One of the more glaring injustices of NetherRealm’s Injustice: Gods Among Us was the lack of Black Canary. Despite being a huge deal in DC Comics, and one of the best parts of Justice League Unlimited, she’s always getting forgotten or fridged like in CW’s Arrow. But now she can get all sorts of payback since she’s been added to the Injustice 2 roster. 

With this debut gameplay on IGN, Black Canary seems like a powerhouse. Her super might be tame, but she has an ability to dodge projectiles in what’s most likely going to be another projectile heavy game. I hope it’s a general dodge and not something limited it to her special trait. Her up-close grappling style might seem lacking in comparison to the other characters revealed so far, but I’m here for it.
