Sega will be holding a Yakuza 6 art exhibit at the Nucleus Art Gallery in Alhambra, California from March 17 until April 1. Admission will be free to all with no RSVP required for the opening day. The event will include various pieces of fan tribute art, game artwork, exclusive themed prints and even a recreation of the famous “Kamurocho Gate” from the series.

General producer of the Yakuza series, Daisuke Sato, will be present on opening day alongside renowned tattoo artist HORITOMO (the man who has designed all of the tattoos in each game) and both will be signing limited edition copies of the art book from the “Essence of Art” edition of Yakuza 6 for anyone that pre-orders the game at the event. The two will also be holding a Q&A with a “special announcement” to be given. Other goodies include an amazing looking T-shirt for sale at the event and a free “Ono Michio-kun” pin for the first 200 attendees.

I really wish I could get my hands on that t-shirt, but I won’t be able to attend this event. It sounds like it will be awesome and I’d love to get to know more about the art behind each tattoo in the series. For anyone that is able to attend, make sure to send me pictures. I’m definitely envious of any native Californians right now.
