IGN has been doing a weekly reveal for WWE 2K17‘s roster and this week marks the final entry. We now know every wrestler that will be stepping in the square ring and the arenas where they will be brawling.

The character roster includes a staggering 133 wrestlers (of which I’ve alphabetized and added nicknames). The game releases on October 11 for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.

I’m obviously very excited that Sting is still on the roster. The actual WWE may be doing nothing with him, but Sting is a legend who deserves more recognition. Goldberg is also a favorite of mine and his inclusion brings this close to my perfect WCW recreation (though being locked to pre-order is idiotic).

I understand Hulk Hogan can’t be in this game, but that would really compel me into buying this. I grabbed WWE 2K15 on day one (even getting the Hulkamania Edition), but that was a huge mistake. Along with locking Sting and Hogan to DLC, the game was poorly optimized and missing a lot of features.

Still, I’ve heard good things about last year’s title and I could always go for more Sting action. At least I can make my own Sting vs. Undertaker match. One day, I hope to get my nWo Wolfpac game…one day.
