You can unlock two DLCs, actually
Nioh has rapidly shot up my “most anticipated” list. While Team Ninja is a hit or miss studio in a post-Itagaki world (who is also hit or miss these days!), it seemed to really nail it with this one. It helps that we’ve gotten not one, but two demos, the second of which is out today.
It features old content from the first build as well as a brand new area, a training sequence, new items, and the ability to unlock both ancillary DLCs by completing the whole shebang. Truthfully, it’s more robust than a lot of full games, so I suggest checking it out if you want something free to play this week.
If you’re curious about Nioh and haven’t dug in yet, check out a stream below featuring the new build. You have until September 6 to play it, at which point the beta will cease to function.
