As one of the most prolific writers of our day, Pat Benatar, said in 1980, “Hell is for Children.” Danganronpa’s absolutely stunning villain, Monokuma, believes in that statement to its fullest, so he constantly sets up devious games to get kids to kill each other. Think the SAW films, except with plotlines that are actually loaded with nuance and depth.

It also helps that the characters in the Danganronpa series are believable and likable, so trying to solve crimes becomes difficult simply because you don’t want to admit the truth. As such, why not acquaint yourself with some of the cast before watching them die? Remember the good times and all that jazz.

There was a trailer last week that introduced a couple of characters, so I’m guessing NIS America will be releasing more in the weeks leading up to the game’s release. Hopefully we get a trailer dedicated to the Monokuma Kubs, because more of him is just too good to pass up on.
