Hey look. A Warners Bros. published game cheaper during pre-order phase on the PC. Much surprised. So pre-order.

On September 1st, Mad Max will make its debut on the Xbox One, PS4, and PC at the standard $59.99 on all platforms. PC version gets the digital pre-order price slash treatment to $35.99 – a big 40% cut at GMG’s VIP sale section. You’ll need to login or create an account on this page in order to see the discount.

Greenman also has a few noteworthy deals this weekend: Metro Redux Bundle (which includes 2033 and Last Light) is at 85% off , dropping the price to $7.70 – the lowest price ever. It’s a similar story on Ryse: Son of Rome, with the game 55% off instantly and coupon eligible, cutting the price to to only $10.39. That’s $3.20 cheaper than we saw during the Steam Summer Sale earlier this year.

While there are some console games on sale below, the bigger discount this weekend includes the Alienware Alpha making a return to $399 after coupon at Dell Home. While not the lowest price ever (previous low of $389 during Amazon’s Prime Day lasted a whole 15 minutes) – its a pretty good price for PC gaming on the cheap.

Finally over at Best Buy, they’re tossing in a free unit of PlayStation TV along with 3 months of PlayStation plus with every purchase of a PlayStation 4 (ends Sat night) – probably a bundled option Sony should have done eons ago to support the PS TV. Oh well, c’est la vie.

Added Sunday: Best Buy is offering an Xbox One plus Samsung 40-incher for only $500. Online stock won’t last long. Deal is week long so check local stores if you don’t see it online.

Added Monday: amiibo Retro 3 pack is available online at GameStop.
