Okay
Ah, Metroid Prime: Federation Force. I suspect that we’ll be debating the merits of this game until it launches, when…we’ll be able to actually debate for real since it’ll be out. Until then, we can only speculate on what to expect, and CGM has uncovered a few great tidbits compliments of the game’s producer, Kensuke Tanabe.
For starters, Tanabe reminds us that Samus will be in the game in some form, and it may allude to what happened post-Prime 3. When asked point blank about the franchise heroine, he stated, “That’s for sure. You will see her in some way. I feel like that’s something nice about this game. It’s kind of like a mix.” He explains earlier that, “so in Metroid Prime 3, there’s sort of hints where Sylux is sort of there. In a way to sort of create that potential for the story, between Samus and Sylux.” Tanabe goes on to say that he “expected” that fans would react in a negative way to the project.
The focus of the game is to tie the universe together, as Tanabe puts it “similar… to the Avengers where they had individual movies focus in on one hero and now this is the team up that brings it all together.” We’ll find out how this whole situation is resolved sometime in 2016.
