Gravity Rush 2 retains the original’s incredible comic-book sense of style

It feels weird to say that it’s coming soon-ish, but Gravity Rush 2 is one of my most anticipated games of this year. This year! I can’t believe it.

The once Vita now Vita-less PS4 game is looking better each week, and now the PlayStation Blog has shared some new screens, rife with additional information and new cast members. The sequel shies away from the original setting of Hekseville, plopping you into the mining town of Banga.

Kat isn’t so alone this time as her friend Syd will accompany her on her adventures, which thankfully involve more “slice of life” type stuff like getting a job during a temporary stay of your superpowers. I also can’t wait to meet Lisa, Vogo, Cecie, Fi, and Misai. The “Rift Plane,” the frontier of Banga, is also teased.

December 2 can’t come soon enough.
