$3M prize pool up for grabs

Hey there my fellow Dota 2 fans, it’s been too long! I’ve fallen out of the scene in the past couple of months, but with the recent release of the Battle Pass, which included the upcoming Compendium for the next International, I’ve been sucked back in. Evidently everyone plays strength heroes now because Armlet is the best.

Anyway, the Manila Major started today! While the prize pool is locked at a measly $3 million (last year’s crowdfunded International was over $18M),  I could not be more excited to be watching Dota 2 again. I pretty much fumbled my way through the Battle Pass predictions, but I’ve got my hopes up for Team Liquid’s success here.

It should be noted that the real meat of the tournament begins on June 7th, and that these are just preliminary group stages. There’s a super well done Survival Guide on reddit, and the official website has some information on teams and streams as well. As always, you can download the free Dota 2 client and watch the matches in-game if you prefer.

Disclosure: I've personally backed Double Fine Adventure, Wasteland 2, Dead State, SPORTSFRIENDS, Torment: Tides of Numera, STRAFE, and The Binding of Isaac: Four Souls. I have previously written for AbleGamers.com and continue to support them whenever possible (like HumbleBundle).
