Cheaper than Steam, you say?
We’re trying to keep the Winter Sale deal posts all in one place (here). But today’s batch of deals from GMG is fairly good and warrants a quick mention. Most of these titles are at their lowest ever prices, and for the top recently released titles, a lot cheaper than Steam Winter Sale… at least, for most regions anyway.*
Both Civilization: Beyond Earth and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel are at their lowest ever price of $24. For me, Beyond Earth was a semi-letdown, but at $24, I probably wouldn’t complain. Pre-Sequel sounds like BL2 Redux, so if you’re into that, here it is.
Wolfenstein: The New Order is excellent at $16 if it’s your genre of choice. Valkyria Chronicles at $12 is muy bueno. (These are the opinions of a rambling robot, so take it all with a grain of salt). Most of the deals are valid for 24 hours only, expiring tomorrow at 8AM PST, but if this is anything like years past, many of the deals will return on the final day of the sale come Jan 2nd
