When it’s not too busy filing lawsuits, Silicon Knights sometimes makes games. One such game is Too Human, a title that has seen its development marred by bad first impressions, whining, controversy and legal antics. Although many wouldn’t be blamed for assuming SK would just snap the game’s neck quietly and flush it down the toilet, the man in charge, Denis Dyack, has confirmed that a 2008 release is planned to still go ahead and that a demo will be made available after the official release date is set in stone. This goes hand in hand with Microsoft also stating a 2008 release was still going to happen. I’m glad some people are confident.
Talking on the TooHuman.net forums, Dyack remained assured that this was merely darkness before dawn:
It is always darkest before the dawn.
Too Human will be out in 2008. A firm date with tons of new info is coming soon. This will be followed up with a playable demo. The demo will speak for itself.Hang in there.
Denis
I still have a tiny sliver of hope for Too Human, but I must admit that the hope is wearing just a might bit thin. We can but sit tight though, those few of us who still really care about the game, and hope that when this demo “speaks for itself,” it doesn’t say, “I’m a problematic, over-developed piece of wank.”
