Who’s that man with the hard, hard beak?

I dislocated a finger playing Octodad. It popped straight out while I was trying to tentacle my way around an aquarium.

Allow my plight to be a warning to all of the new players who will be able to potentially cause physical harm to themselves, when Octodad: Dadliest Catch launches on Xbox One next week. Playing as an absolutely adorable octopus makes the risk totally worth it.

We’ve known it was coming “Summer 2015” for a while, but it’s now been confirmed it will be coming on August 26, for $14.99. It’ll also include the Shorts DLC right from the get go too.

Developer Young Horses has also said it will be looking into a control scheme unique to the Xbox One after launch, but I’ve got absolutely no idea what that could even be. Kinect maybe?

Here’s another warning: the trailer above contains one of the catchiest theme tunes any game has ever produced ever.

~Octodaaaaaad, nobody suspects a thing…~
