A few new screenshots to show off

Guacamelee! was rad and DrinkBox Studios’ next project Severed has a lot of the same stuff going for it, despite existing in an entirely different genre. It has that same sharp cartoon art style and it doesn’t shy away from some good old-fashioned violence.

Severed was originally announced to be a summer release, but DrinkBox has pushed that back to an undisclosed window. The alpha is set to be ready in a few days, but the developer needs “sufficient time to add more memes and dumb jokes.” (DrinkBox adds later that the meme thing was a joke; they heard you all complain about that in Guacamelee!)

To sate the appetite of any fans who were looking forward to getting fingers on this PlayStation Vita title soon, there are a few new screenshots available now. Lookin’ nice, Severed.
