Seriously though, Live looks pretty rad

The return of the battle of the plastic peripherals is almost upon us once more, with titans Guitar Hero Live and Rock Band 4 both throwing more and more songs at us in the hopes we’ll actually recognise any of them.

This time around, the latest batch of Guitar Hero Live songs only has one thing I recognise, and that’s from a Weird Al Parody. My music taste is awful though, so maybe that isn’t saying as much as I think it does.

Anyhoo, the ‘new’ songs you can almost break your fingers to are:

  • OneRepublic – “Counting Stars”
  • Paramore – “Now”
  • The Mowgli’s – “San Francisco”
  • Cypress Hill ft. Tom Morello – “Rise Up”
  • Asking Alexandria – “The Final Episode”
  • The Vines – “Metal Zone”
  • Wolf Alice – “Moaning Lisa Smile”
  • Disturbed – “Down With the Sickness”
  • TV On The Radio – “Lazerray”
  • Foster the People – “Coming of Age”

So uh… come on and get down with the sickness when Guitar Hero Live releases on October 20 for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and Wii U, I guess?

Needs more Smash Mouth. I was a champion on that in Guitar Hero On Tour.
