Konami announced recently that Metal Gear Solid V will have a special item when it launches later this year (?) — the chicken hat. It will appear after multiple deaths, and if you pick it up, it makes the game easier. Think of it like Nintendo’s optional Super Guide.
If you’re itching to get some more close-up shots of the hat, the publisher has you covered. Check them out in the gallery below, as well as the video if you missed the original reveal. I still don’t get why people are pissed off at this thing — just don’t use it.
