What better way to reveal a new character for your fighting game than by barely showing them off in a new trailer? The next match-ups for DC’s Battle Arena have been announced: the Man of Steel is going toe-to-toe with the leader of the yellow lanterns, Sinestro, followed by the odd pairing of Green Arrow versus Hawkgirl. We also get to see brief glimpses of Sinestro’s techniques, not unlike those of his green, will-powered rival Hal Jordan.
To be honest, I haven’t paid much attention to the Battle Arena match-ups for Injustice: Gods Among Us. I enjoy the occasional fiery debate on whether or not Batman could take on Superman in an even match, but these seem less like an interesting debate and more of a reason to show of the celebrities that they paid to talk about DC heroes; and I use the term “celebrity” pretty loosely.
