During their Q4 2013 financial results, Activision CEO Bobby Kotick proclaimed that Bungie’s Destiny will be the “next billion dollar franchise” for the company. He expects it to be “the best-selling videogame in history,” in fact.
That’s a pretty tall order, Activision. Destiny is going to be great, but best-selling videogame in history? Good luck with that!
