[Destructoid’s Director of Communications Hamza Aziz asked Jonathan Holmes to make a show called ‘Sup, Holmes?’ so that Destructoid could later sell a t-shirt that says ‘Sup, Holmes?’ on it. This is that show. Subscribe to the podcast feed and find more episodes here.]

Anthony Burch is one of my heroes, which is weird, because I’m way older than him. That’s just one of the reasons I’m so jealous of the guy. He’s got a hit video series on Gametrailers called Hey Ash Whatcha Playin’ (which got its start here on Dtoid), he’s one of the writers on the upcoming AAA title Borderlands 2, he’s got a brilliant mind for game design, he’s funny, he’s got an awesome beard sometimes, the list goes on and on. He’s like the videogame industry equivalent to Superman. He even wears his underwear on the outside of his pants.

If he were still working for Dtoid, I bet he’d be the one that hosts this very show, which is one of the reasons I’m so excited to have him on. Join us at 1pm PST/4pm EST for a fun chat about everything that I love about Anthony Burch. I’m sure it’s going to make him really uncomfortable.

Videogames, I suppose."- Gainax, FLCL Vol. 1 "The beach, the trees, even the clouds in the sky... everything is build from little tiny pieces of stuff. Just like in a Gameboy game... a nice tight little world... and all its inhabitants... made out of little building blocks... Why can't these little pixels be the building blocks for love..? For loss... for understanding"- James Kochalka, Reinventing Everything part 1 "I wonder if James Kolchalka has played Mother 3 yet?" Jonathan Holmes
