Yeah, it’s technically called Mortal Kombat without the “9,” but it’s just easier to call it MK9 for consistency sake. Regardless, the latest Mortal Kombat game has long been anticipated for PC, and now it finally has a hard release date: July 3.
Woah, that’s tomorrow! Mortal Kombat 9 is a really fantastic fighter, so long as you don’t mind a block button. I can’t help but tune in when the game is played in any high-skill tournament, since I know there will be decent character variety. I also love watching people play Street Fighter IV on PC, since some of the modded skins are nuts. Combining both of these things sounds pretty great if you ask me. It’s also nice that MK games don’t need fightsticks since they play so well on a standard controller with a decent D-Pad. You’ve got one of those, right?
