Disasterpeace is one of the biggest deals in game music today. He’s on the soundtrack for Fez, the upcoming Fez 2Bit.Trip Presents Runner2, Monsters ate my Birthday Cake, and many more. There are very few game composers that have managed to make a name for themselves in the industry. That’s not easy in an industry that often treats the soundtrack as an afterthought, or worse, a deterrent to “legitimacy”. The fact that Distasterpeace has grown to have such a following is proof positive of both his skill at his craft, and the fact that music is an important part of the craft.

We’ll be talking to Mr. Peace about hos he got started in the industry, his ambitions, his thoughts on the composers place in development, and whatever else he wants to talk about.
