Every once in a while Nintendo emerges from its ivory tower to participate in special charity events where it provides free Pokémon for the unwashed washes to enjoy. Sometimes they’re cool, other times you get Magikarp.

Surprise! This time it’s Magikarp. The Pokémon Center in Nagoya, Japan will be dishing out the golden fish from March 20 to May 6. But this isn’t your run-of-the-mill useless Magikarp. Oh, no! This is a talented level 99 shiny Magikarp that knows Flail, Hydro Pump, Bounce and Splash. 

And he’s in possession of some sweet, delicious rare candy. What a badass.
