The villainous Cruella de Vil is inciting chaos all over Wishblossom Ranch, but luckily, you can befriend her to calm things down a bit in Disney Dreamlight Valley. She’s not an easy character to unlock, though, so you might need some help with this process.

How to get Cruella in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To unlock Cruella, you need to unlock the Glamour Gulch biome and complete The Skunk Rebellion quest. There are quite a lot of prerequisites before you reach this point, though. In total, there are 10 main tasks you need to complete and one other character you have to unlock before you can recruit her. To unlock Cruella, you need to:
- Unlock the Wishblossom Ranch DLC.
- Cruella is a DLC exclusive character, so you must have this expansion purchased to meet her.
- Travel to Wishblossom Ranch.
- You must navigate through a large chunk of the main storyline in this DLC world to meet her, so head to the Stardust Port to board the train to Wishblossom Ranch.
- Complete the A Wishful Invitation quest.
- Begin your journey with this introductory quest, where you meet Snow White and start exploring the Wishblossom Ranch region.
- Complete the Tales of a Broken Heart quest.
- Help save the massive Wishblossom from dying and meet Tinker Bell in this main mission that provides a lot of context for the main storyline and gets you one step closer to unlocking Cruella.
- Unlock Snow White.
- Cruella can’t be recutied until after you’ve gotten Snow White, so stick to the main story quests to get her first. She’s unlocked at the very end of the Tales of a Broken Heart quest.
- Complete the Ghost Town quest.
- Before you can move on to the biome where Cruella is located, you need to get some key businesses up and running in Wishblossom Ranch, which is what this quest is all about.
- Complete the Wheel Big Trouble quest.
- Goofy’s caravan is blocking your path forward, so you need to help him fix it up so you can venture forward in your journey.
- Complete the Crystal Cavern: Wishing Alps quest.
- This is your first big Wishblossom Ranch trial, and the key step that you need to complete to gain entry to Glamour Gulch.
- Complete The Decay of Fashion quest.
- This mission is where you enter Cruella’s Glamour Gulch biome and finally get to meet her. It’s the first of the quests you’ll tackle based entirely around her.
- Complete The De Vil Crash quest.
- Cruella’s second story quest focuses on rescuing her car from the Quarry. It’s the last side mission you need to tackle before you get Cruella’s unlock quest.
- Complete The Skunk Rebellion quest.
- This is the quest where you finally unlock Cruella. At the very end of this mission, you get to build her house for 15,000 Star Coins, at which point she’s unlocked as a villager.
All Cruella friendship rewards in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Cruella has nine friendship rewards for you to claim as you reach levels two through 10 with her. Once you reach level two with her, you also gain the ability to assign her a role and ask her to hang out, which makes building your bond much easier.
