Nintendo news has been gloomy lately, so here’s a bit of positivity for you — The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D has become a million-seller. Not bad going, especially since it’s not been out that long.
The game shifted 810,000 copies in the West, and a further 270,000, making for a significant worldwide success. This was all between June 16 and June 30, too. Amazing how such an old game is still so popular in this age of “next-gen” chicanery.
It’s worth noting that, despite reports, this is not Nintendo’s first million-selling 3DS game. Nintendogs + Cats already got that honor.
Hopefully this is further encouragement for Nintendo to put Majora’s Mask on the system.
