Binary Domain story trailer has robots doing robot things

Here’s a trailer for Binary Domain, a game I saw at E3 and really wanted to like. As I said before, I really dig the style of the story, even if it’s not doing anything particularly new on the narrative front. Done well, I always have time for “robots turn on their human masters” stories. 

I’m just keeping my fingers crossed that we don’t have another Mindjack or Knights Contract — games that look interesting as Hell but needed way more polish and budget behind them to succeed. So many games fall into that category and I’m keeping my fingers crossed Binary Domain doesn’t. It’s got some of the risk factors. 

Here’s hoping it can avoid the trap!
