“F*ck it, we’re doing it live,” tweets Uber Entertainment’s Chandana Ekanayake in reference to the studio’s latest game Super Monday Night Combat showing up on Steam earlier than expected. Players can download the free-to-play title right now without needing a beta key, and I highly suggest doing that.
Speaking on the company’s forums, he says “We did a bunch of invites over the weekend and there was some wonkiness on how the messaging went out with lots of confusion which resulted in more silliness. We decided to just open it up. There will be an announcement about it on Steam soon.”
I’ve only gotten a practice round in, but I played as a gorilla wearing a swanky suit. Say no more, Uber.
