8-Bitham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter gets me hot and excited

Even though my brain is telling me that Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is going to be a huge flop, my heart can’t stop pining for it. I haven’t felt this way about a movie since Snakes on a Plane, and I’ll be damned if I let something as trivial as good sense prevent me from checking it out in theaters.

In the meantime, Freddie Wong and Cladesdyne teamed up to create a fake retro-style brawler based on the upcoming popcorn flick. By now, we’ve all learned that “8-bit” fan works hardly fall within the restrictions of real 8-bit consoles — 8-Bitham Lincoln looks more like a TurboGrafx-16 title to me. Nonetheless, you’ve got Lincoln chopping down vampires with an axe, and that’s f*ckin’ awesome!
