Pokémon Go viewers at the 2025 Pokémon World Championship can get access to special in-game Timed Research that, when completed, gives you a Skarmory on top of some extra encounters and items.

How to get the x Timed Research
To get the Timed Research tasks, you need to get an exclusive code by watching the Pokémon Go Twitch stream for 30 minutes while enabling Twitch Drops. You must also connect your Pokémon Trainer Club account to your Twitch and Pokémon Go accounts to make it work.
To link your account and get the code, complete the following steps:
- Link your Pokémon Trainer Club account to your Twitch account on the Pokémon Twitch Rewards page.
- After connecting, watch the Pokémon Go Twitch channel during Worlds on both day one and day two, with Twitch Drops enabled, for over 30 minutes. You can’t mute the stream. And if you tab out, the timer will pause, forcing you to watch the event on both days to get both sets of research.
- Claim your Drop code from the Twitch Drops Inventory page.
- Redeem the code on the Pokémon Go official website.
